Boys Cross Country Results for Tuesday, October 4th

East Sac at South Central Calhoun

The East Sac Raiders ran a great meet Tuesday as they traveled to compete at South Central Calhoun. The Raiders as a team finished third overall with 94 points. Meet hosts South Central Calhoun ended up in ninth place with 213 points.

Parker Engel of East Sac continued to run well this season and ended up with the best time among our area athletes at this meet with a second-place finish in a time of 17:49.11. Isaiah Aragon and Landon Sporrer also ended up with solid times, finishing inside the top 10. Aragon finished eighth with a time of 18:11.49 and Sporrer was right behind him in ninth with a time of 18:24.98. Other runners who competed for the Raiders include Owen Engel who finished just outside the top 30 in 31st place with a time of 19:51.69 and Wyatt Smith who completed the course with a time of 20:38.71.

South Central Calhoun was able to come away with an individual finish in the top 25 and one that was right outside that at their home meet. Tristan Blair had the best time among his teammates with a time of 19:24.79 finishing in 22nd place. Redge Potts was just outside the top 25 in 26th place and had a time of 19:33.83. The Titans also had Joe Thielen who finished 42nd overall with a time of 20:27.58 and Nathan Burley who completed the meet with a time of 21:33.14.
