Carroll At Nevada Tournament
Carroll was in a very tough pool on Saturday, finishing the day 0-4 in matches and 1-8 in sets. picking up a set win against Glenwood. They hung tough in most of the sets, playing making teams earn there wins. The defense was scrappy on the day, forcing teams to keep swinging to get kills. The Tigers dropped two tight sets to West Marshall, took the first set against Glenwood before dropping the next two.
Kaitlyn Tigges led the team with 27 assists with Riley Nagl finishing with 24 assists. Shay Sinnard had 15 kills to lead a balanced attack with Madison Thornock with 12, Olivia Rowedder and Katelyn Aden had 9 each. Kaitlyn Tigges also led the team with 22 digs, followed by Nagl with 20 digs, Shay Sinnard with 19, Madison Tunning 18 and Ava Gross 13. Shay Sinnard, Madison Thornock, Katelyn Aden and Camryn Schable all had 2 blocks. Madison Thornock and Marasyn Wittrock both had 3 aces.
Carroll falls to 7-17 on the season, dropping 5 straight. They travel to Boone on Tuesday.
