The Ar-We-Va used a huge 2nd quarter to pull away on their way to their third straight win, improving to 3-2 on the season and 3-1 in district play. Ar-We-Va led 14-8 after the 1st quarter, but outscored the Eagles 28-6 in the 2nd quarter to lead 44-14 at half. Their defense turned up the pressure, shutting down Siouxland Christian while the Rockets run game got rolling. Wade Ragaller was the workhorse, carrying the ball 31 times for 259 yards. Wade Ragaller and Jonathan Riesselman both had interceptions with Ragaller returning his 35-yards for a touchdown. The defense was sharp against pass, if they weren’t able to get to the quarter, they deflected passes. Emmett Nuemann had 3 pass deflections and Wade Ragaller had 2 to lead the defensive push. The continuous clock in the second half, cut down on both teams scoring opportunities. Ar-We-Va picked up a safety in the 3rd quarter and Siouxland Christian scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter.

Wade Ragaller scored 5 touchdowns on the night to go with his 259 yards rushing and pick 6, he added 8 catches for 99 yards. Ragaller added 13 tackles on defense. Aiden Blackman had 9 carries for 42 yards. Blayne Smith was 10-25 for 103 yards and a touchdown. Tyson Von Glan added 9 tackles and Emmett Neumann had 6 tackles to go with his 3 pass deflections.

The Rockets host Boyer Valley on Friday.
