Girls Cross Country Results Thursday, September 15th

Kuemper and Audubon At Panorama

Stefi Beisswenger of Audubon and Marie Dea of Kuemper Catholic both had strong showings in a tough field on Thursday. Both girls finished in the top with Beisswenger taking 7th place, one spot ahead of Dea. The Knights took 7th place overall as a team with 170 points while Audubon only had Beisswenger run in the varsity race and didn’t have a team score. Julia Kanne gave the Knights another solid runner, taking 16th place.

East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Sioux Central Invite

Chloe Judisch and Iris Melody gave South Central Calhoun two runners in the top 15 as the Titans finished 9th as a team with 178 points. Judisch set a new personal best by 1:27, running a 20:25.64, competing against a loaded field, where the top six runners were ranked in classes 1A and 2A. Melody was 12th overall, running a 21:27.73. Kortni Thomsen led the Raiders who ran just two girls, finishing in 61st place.
