Carroll showed vast improvement in their second meet of the season as they begin to settle into their roles with the team and get comfortable with the school season. Their lack of numbers makes it hard to win meets, so individual improvement is the key early in the season. Emma Myers and Lydia Dose were two of the Tigers stars on the night. Myers brought home a pair of individual titles in the 200 IM in 2:21.39 and the 100 breast, with a time of 1:10.58. She anchored the 200 Free Relay as they brought home the title as well with Amelia Holt leading off, followed by Hailey Burns and Natalie Kent. The group swam a 1:48.92.
Lydia Dose set personal bests in the 200 IM (3:09.87) and the 500 Free (7:16.43). Natalie Kent was 2nd in the 50 free, Amelia Holt won the 100 free in 59.29 and Hailey Burns was 2nd in the 100 back. The Tigers continue to do well in relays taking 2nd in the 400 free with Amelia Holt, Hailey Burns, Zelda DeMoss and Emma Myers.
The Tigers are off until September 17th at Marshalltown.
