Kenzie Schon hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 1st inning as the Kuemper offense came out swinging. They scored 4-runs in the first on four hits and never looked back. Kuemper had 11 hits through the first-three innings and led 8-1 heading into the 4th. Every starter had at least one hit and six players finished with two or more hits. Kamryn Venner was solid in the circle, allowing just three hits and surpassing 100 strikeouts this season with 7 strikeouts for the game. Kuemper ended the game in the 6th inning with one out, scoring a pair of runs with all five batters that inning reaching base.
Melinda Schaefer doubled with one out in the 1st inning. Jordan Schwabe singled and Kenzie Schon cranked a home run over the fence in left field. Kuemper added another run, batting all nine players in the inning. Kenadee Loew doubled and scored on a single by Alexis Diercksen. Hailey Ostrander, Melinda Schaefer, Jordan Schwabe, Kenzie Schon and Kenadee Loew all singled to start the 2nd inning with Hailey Ostrander and Allison Ostrander both scoring. Kuemper led 6-1 after 2 innings. Kamryn Venner, Kaci Peter got hits to start the 3rd inning and the Knights scored with RBI by Melinda Schaefer and Jordan Schwabe, extending the lead to 8-1. After scoring a run in the 4th and coming up empty in the 5th. The Knights got a walk from, Schwabe, then a single by Kenzie Schon. Kenadee Loew reached on a fielders choice followed by RBI singles from Kaylie Diercksen and Alexis Diercksen to end the game. Shenandoah had the bases loaded in the 4th inning with no outs, but Jordan Schwabe picked off a runner at 3rd and then Kamryn Venner struck out the next two batters to end the threat.
Kenzie Schon had 3 hits, including a 3-run home run in the 1st inning. She added a RBI to finish with 4. Melinda Schaefer, Kenadee Loew, Kaylie Diercksen, Alexis Diercksen and Kamryn Venner all had 2 hits. Schaefer scored twice and Alexis Diercksen drove in a pair of runs. Kamryn Venner threw all 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 7 with 5 walks, stranding 6 Fillies on base.

Kuemper had to battle in the second game of the doubleheader, pulling out a high scoring affair, thanks to a pair of home runs and sixteen hits overall. Kuemper turned those 16 hits into 15-runs, scoring 5 times in both the 3rd and 4th innings, then adding 4 more in the 5th inning. They batted around the order in the 3rd and 4th innings and had eight players hit in the 5th inning. Seven players had a hit for Kuemper with five players having 2 or more hits.
Jordan Schwabe was tough at the plate, hitting a grand slam home run in the 5th inning, adding a 2-run single in the 3rd and a RBI double in the 4th. She finished with 3 hits and 7 RBI while scoring 3 times. Kamryn Venner added a home run in the 6th inning and a double in the 3rd. She finished with 4 hits and was a triple shy of the cycle. Venner scored all 4 times on base. Hailey Ostrander had 3 hits with a double, drove in 2-runs and scored twice. Melinda Schaefer had 2 hits and scored 3 times. Kaylie Diercksen added a pair of hits, a double and 2 RBI. Kenadee Loew scored twice. Chloe Venteicher picked up the win, going all 7 innings, allowing 14 hits and 8 earned runs while striking out 11.
The Knights picked up a pair of wins to improve to 13-12 overall and 9-4 in the Hawkeye 10. They host Atlantic on Tuesday.

Carroll trailed 5-1 heading into the 6th inning and was only out hit 16-13 but only managed to score 2-runs, falling on the road. The Tigers gave up 5-runs in the 6th to make the game more lopsided than it was most of the game. Carroll had nine different players with a hit and three players finished with multiple hits. Carroll scored a run in both the 3rd and 7th inning.
Parker Adams led the Tiger attack with 3 hits and an RBI. Brielle Hinners and Ava Gross each had 2 hits. Gabby Olberding rove on a run and Carly Menken scored a run. Camryn Schable pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing 11 hits and 5 earned runs.
The loss drops Carroll to 9-12 overall and 0-9 in the RRC. They host East Sac on Tuesday on KIKD.

Coon Rapids Bayard sent 11 batters to the plate in the bottom 4th inning, scoring 9-runs to blow open and end what had been a tight game to that point. Ar-We-Va scored a pair of runs in the top 1st to take a brief lead as Kora Obrecht and Maggie Ragaller scored. Coon Rapids Bayard responded with 4-runs in the bottom half. Miranda McClellan doubled and Kadey Olson drove in a run for the Crusaders in the 1st. The Crusaders added a run on a solo home run by Breeley Clayburg in the 3rd, then used 4 walks, 2 hit-by-pitches and 2 hits to score 9 times in the 4th. Breeley Clayburg reached on an error that scored 3-runs in the inning and the game ended with an RBI double by Emma Hart.
Emma Hart, Lacie Davis, Breeley Clayburg, Miranda McClellan and Kadey Olson all had hits for Coon Rapids Bayard. Emma Hart doubled and drove in a run, Clayburg homered, had a pair of RBI and scored 3 times. Miranda McClellan drove in two-runs and scored twice. Kadey Olson had a pair of RBI. Emma Hart won in the circle, going 4 innings, allowing 3 hits and no earned runs.
Jamie Hausman, Kora Obrecht and Delaney Schurke all had hits for Ar-We-Va with Obrecht and Maggie Ragaller scoring.
Coon Rapids Bayard improved to 10-7 and 7-3 in the RVC. They are currently sitting in 3rd in the league. Ar-We-Va falls to 2-9 overall and 2-8 in the RVC. The Crusaders head to West Harrison and Ar-We-Va travels to Boyer Valley on Tuesday.

The Raiders were in good shape heading into the bottom of the 5th inning, leading 3-2, but surrendered 5-runs in the 5th and couldn’t recover. They out hit Sioux Central 6-4 but couldn’t take advantage of the extra base runners. East Sac drew nine walks and had another hit-by-pitch while allowing eight walks and one hit-by-pitch. The Rebels sent nine batters to the plate in the 5th inning, quickly getting the first two girls on base with a walk and fielders choice. A 2-run home run jump started the inning. Sioux Central followed it up with a walk, single and an error. Gracie Snyder doubled for the Raiders in the 7th and scored on a sacrifice by Mary Bontrager but the Raiders couldn’t muster another run.
Gracie Snyder doubled for their only extra base hit while Mary Bontrager, Meredith Brown, Kami Ross, Jamie Pierce and Maci Gustavson all had a base hit. Gustavson took the loss, allowing 7 runs in 6 innings. She gave up 4 hits, struck out 7 while walking 8 and hitting 1.
The loss drops the Raiders to 2-10 overall and 2-4 in the TLC. They head to Carroll on KIKD on Tuesday.

Everything worked for South Central Calhoun on Monday night as they scored 21-runs in the 1st inning, then scored 10 more in the 2nd. The Titans picked up 19 hits with six players with multi hits games and four of those players having 3 or more hits. They batted 25 batters in the 1st inning and 14 batters in the 2nd inning. Onna Hauper was solid in the circle, allowing 7 hits while striking out 2 but didn’t walk anyone.
Emma Anderson was one of four players to get a base hit on every at bat. Anderson finished 4-4 with a pair of doubles, drove in 5-runs and scored 5 times. Keira Hammen keeps adding to her home run total, hitting a 2-run shot, while going 3-3. Hammen added a double and drove in 6-runs. She scored 4 times. Kylee Schleisman also had 3 hits in 3 at-bats. She scored 3 times. Oliva Toms added triple to go with 3 hits, she drove in 4-runs and scored 4 as well. Gracie Hungate and Evelyn Kramer both had 2 hits. Hungate scored 4-runs and Kramer scored 3 times. Madi Smidt had 2 RBI and scored 3 times and Brenna McAlister added 2 RBI and scored 3-runs.
The Titans improved to 2-10 overall and 1-5 in the TLC. They head to Newell Fonda on Wednesday.

Audubon nearly pulled off a big road win, but had the game slip away late. The Wheelers scored seven times in the 3rd inning and led 7-5 heading into the 6th. They were tied going into the bottom 7th but Missouri Valley strung together three straight singles to win the game. Audubon had two runners on base top 7th with no outs but weren’t able to score, setting up the Big Red to win the game with one run in the bottom half. Audubon made 4 errors, allowing 6 unearned runs.
The Wheelers loaded the bases with one out in the 3rd and got on the board when Jordan Porsch singled to score Victoria Asmus. Kali Irlmeier drove in Jordan Mulford, putting the Wheelers up 2-0. Kylee Hart made it 3-0 with another single, then Michelle Brooks hit a grand slam home run to left field and the Wheelers were up 7-0. Missouri Valley scored a run in the bottom 3rd, a run in the 4th and 3 in the 5th to begin their rally.
Michelle Brooks and Jordan Porsch both had 2 hits with Brooks hitting a grand slam home run. Porsch doubled and drove in a run. Kali Irlmeier went 5 innings, allowing 6 hits and 1 earned runs while striking out 8.
