Storm Lake at Carroll

Storm Lake      11

Carroll                1

The Carroll Tigers had a non-conference game on Tuesday as they took on a tough Storm Lake squad.

Carroll started off with a 1-0 start in the first two innings thanks to Sterling Rodman’s RBI single that scored Ryan North. The Tornadoes were able to break their silence with a game high six run third inning, and later four runs in the fourth and a final run in the fifth. A big factor that led to Storm Lake’s run were the three errors committed by Carroll, which gave up seven unearned runs from the Tigers’ side. The Tornadoes ended the game via the 10-run rule in the fifth inning, winning 11-1 over Carroll.

Carroll continues their busy week with a road game on Wednesday, June 15th when they take on Gilbert.
