Carroll Girls At Storm Lake Invite
Carroll finished the regular season strong, taking 2nd place at the Storm Lake Invite. The Tigers shot a 436, with Humboldt winning the event with a 394. Erin Winker of Carroll took 3rd with a 99 and Ashlee Danner finished 6th with a 105 as the Tigers had two of the top 8 place winners.
Winker shot a 50-49 with 2-4’s and 3-5’s on the front 9 and a 4 and 3-5’s on the back 9. Ashlee Danner added a 55-50 with a 5 on the front and 2-4’s and 2-5’s on the back. Schurke went 55-57, finishing with a 3 and 3-5’s on the front and a 3 and 2-5’s on the back. Kofron closed her day with 62-58, having a 4 on the front and 2-5’s on the back.
The Tigers head to Terrace Hills for Regionals on Wednesday.
