Girls Golf Regional Results for Friday, May 13th
Class 1A – Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston, and IKM-Manning at Don Williams
Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston, and IKM-Manning all competed well Friday at their Class 1A Regional Golf meets where all four teams either qualified as a team or will be sending individuals to the Region 1 Final Meet. IKM-Manning and Coon Rapids Bayard will be golfing as a team next Wednesday as they finished as the top two teams. The Wolves finished with a team score of 423, winning the meet, followed by Coon Rapids Bayard who had a score of 458. Audubon was able to finish fourth as a team with a score of 487.
Kylie Powers for IKM-Manning was named medalist of the meet with an individual score of 84. Maeve Nielsen was able to finish within the top six at sixth place with a score of 108. Eryn Ramsey and Brooke Booth finished close to each other in the individual rankings, with Ramsey finishing 10th with a score of 115 and Booth at 11th with a score of 116, rounding out the scoring for the Wolves.
For Coon Rapids Bayard, Emma Hart finished fourth overall as an individual with a final score of 100. Brynn Bass was right behind her in fifth place with a score of 102. Macy Winnett helped the Crusaders in their second-place finish with a score of 127. Morgen Hart rounded out the scoring for Coon Rapids Bayard with a score of 129.
Audubon’s Kali Irlmeier qualified for the Regional Final meet with a runner-up medalist score of 93. Sienna Albertsen rounded out her day on the course with a score of 111. Kacie Anthofer golfed a 131 while Alexandra Asmus finished her day with a score of 152.
Glidden Ralston’s Addy Boell will represent the Wildcats at the Regional Final meet as she finished third overall individually with a score of 100. Elizabeth Lloyd was the other golfer Glidden Ralston brought, and she finished 17th overall with a score of 129.
The Region 1 Final meet will be held at the Newell Golf Club on Wednesday, May 18th.

Class 2A – East Sac, Kuemper, and South Central Calhoun at Greene County
The season’s of East Sac, Kuemper, and South Central Calhoun came to a close as neither of the three teams were able to qualify for the Region 3 final meet. Roland Story and MVAOCOU are the two teams that will move on to compete at the region final with Roland Story winning the meet with a score of 356, followed by MVAOCOU with a score of 400. East Sac was able to finish in fifth place with a score of 504, followed by South Central Calhoun with a score of 486 in sixth.
Sidney Bieret of East Sac finished with the best score among our area golfers with a score of 103 in 22nd place individually. Tristin Ludwig would finish 43rd overall individually with a score of 131 followed by Kendall Quirk who finished with a score of 134, and Kennedy Raeman with a score of 136.
South Central Calhoun’s Sam Stuart finished the best among her teammates with a meet score of 114. Kaitlyn O’Neill concluded her day on the course with a score of 123, followed one stroke behind by Lauren Korkow with a score of 124. Charissa Nowatzke continued the trend of close scores for the Titans as she finished her day on the course with a score of 125.
Grace Tigges was the lone golfer competing for Kuemper, and she rounded out her season with a score of 124.
