Kuemper used a great defensive effort to keep the ball on its offensive end, allowing it to attack Greene County. The Knights finished with 44 shots on goal with Kenya Prescott and Kiley Trecker both taking 9 shots on goal and scoring once. Kiley Trecker put them ahead in the 1st half with a goal. Kuemper led 1-0 at half, thanks in part to the defense, keeping Greene County contained. Frannie Glynn, Megan Milligan, Lauren Boell, Izzy Boes, Karigan Wendl, Vanessa Borelli and Melinda Schaefer were outstanding in possession defense.
Kenya Prescott scored the Knights second goal with 33:00 in the 2nd half, and Karsyn Overmohle wrapped up the win with a goal at 20:00. Jordyn Schulte had an assist for the Knights. Karly Baumhover, Lauren Boell and Jordyn Schulte helped keep the Knights on the attack, combining for 15 shots on goal. Kora Thomsen and Frannie Glynn each had 3 shots on goal.
The win in the Knights third straight, improving them to 6-6 overall. They host Tri Center on Friday.

Carroll dropped their 3rd straight after a three match win streak, falling to Denison Schleswig for the second time in the last week. The Tigers trailed 2-0 at half, struggling to get good looks on goal. Emersyn Walsh led the Tigers with 2 shots on goal while Mary Perkins, Azaya Martinez and Paige Pothoff all had a shot on goal. The Monarchs added a pair of goals in the 2nd half. Carroll lost 3-1 to the Monarchs on Saturday at the Denison Schleswig tournament.
The loss drops Carroll to 3-8 on the season. Carroll heads to LoMa on Saturday.

The Raiders offense was aggressive on Thursday, helping lead them to their second straight win. The Raiders outshot Fort Dodge 36-2, with Kenna Meyer taking 8 shots on goal and Wilma Roneus having 7 shots on goal. Cooper Herrig connected on a penalty kick 8:00 into the match, to put the Raiders ahead. Kenna Meyer extended the lead with 5:00 remaining in the half.
The Raiders defense made the lead hold up in the 2nd half. Makenna Steiger faced just 2 shots on goal, finishing with a pair of saves.
The Raiders improve to 3-7 overall and will travel to Atlantic on Friday.
