East Sac and Storm Lake St Mary’s At Newell Fonda

East Sac took third at the triangular at Newell Fonda on Friday, shooting a 255. The Mustangs won the meet with a 194 with Storm Lake St Mary’s in 2nd place, shooting a 244.

Newell Fonda claimed the individual honors with Brooke Jackson winning medalist with a 42 and Alexis Barber earning runner-up medalist with a 48. Tristin Ludwig led the Raiders with a 59, Sidney Bieret added a 60 followed by Kendall Quirk 67 and Lexi Thomsen with a 69.

The Raiders meet at OA-BCIG on Saturday has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

Glidden Ralston At SE Valley Tournament

It was a tough day for the Wildcats on a cold, wet and windy day as they had their highest scoring round of the season. Glidden Ralston finished 5th with a 237 and were one of three teams to shot above 200. Greene County won the meet with a 198, edging SE Valley by one stroke.

Tyler Brant paced the Wildcats with a 54, shooting par on hole 2 with a 5, Caden Wenck shot a 57 and shot par on number 9 with a 5. John Whitver finished with a 60, adding the Wildcats third par, shooting 3 on number 6. Mark Lensch was the final score with a 66. Jack Hansen of Greene County was medalist, shooting a 45, Caden Telleen of Greene County was shot a 47, Hunter Meeks of Ogden and Tucker Smith of Manson NW Webster also shot 47.

East Sac and Storm Lake St Mary’s At Newell Fonda

East Sac had two guys shoot in the 40’s as they finished 3rd at the triangular in Newell on Friday. The Raiders shot a 210, Newell Fonda won the meet with a 175 and Storm Lake St Mary’s shot a 181. The Mustangs had all six of their golfers shoot in the 40’s and Storm Lake St Mary’s had three golf scores in the 40’s.

Mason Laven of Storm Lake St Mary’s earned medalist honors with a 40 and Mason Dicks of Newell Fonda shot a 41 and was runner-up medalist. Brayden Burns led the Raiders with a 44 and Carter Hogrefe fired a 46. Jack Swanger added a 59 and Landon Graff had a 61.
