Kuemper got their week of matches started off with an outstanding win over St Edmond Monday afternoon. Despite a match in singles and doubles that were close to going St Edmond’s way, the Knights were able to go 48-8 in singles matches and 24-6 in doubles matches. Jordan Schwabe had some a bit of difficulty putting away Larren Gibb, but ultimately, she did by a final score of 8-5. Samantha Tidgren and Keziah Janssen had no issues in their singles matches, going 8-0. Alyssa Brant, Sophie Rohe, and Ella Schwarte also had great singles matches, winning their sets 8-1. 

In doubles, Schwarte and Janssen were the ones who had to fight for their set win over Payton Bradley and Cambree Lynn of St Edmond. The Kuemper duo were able to slide by with an 8-5 victory. Tidgren and Brant teamed up to win their match easily by a score of 8-0, giving Tidgren a perfect day on the court going 16-0 between singles and doubles sets. Schwabe and Rohe saw similar success in their doubles match, winning 8-1 over Larren Gibb and Delaney O’Connor. 

The Knights as a team improved to 4-0 on the season. They are back in action on Thursday, April 28th as they play host to Audubon.

Jordan Schwabe of Kuemper won 8-5 over Larren Gibb of St Edmond

Sophie Rohe of Kuemper won 8-1 over Payton Bradley of St Edmond

Ella Schwarte of Kuemper won 8-1 over Emma Barwin of St Edmond

Keziah Janssen of Kuemper won 8-0 over Maya Neverman of St Edmond

 

Doubles

Samantha Tidgren and Alyssa Brant of Kuemper won 8-0 over Katie Flaherty and Anna Kolacia of St Edmond

Jordan Schwabe and Sophie Rohe of Kuemper won 8-1 over Larren Gibb and Delaney O’Connor of St Edmond
