Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: IKM-Manning, SCC, and Glidden Ralston Girls Golf in Action Friday

Girls Golf Results for Friday, April 22nd

IKM-Manning at AHSTW

The IKM-Manning Wolves were on the road Friday as they took on AHSTW on a humid Friday afternoon. The Wolves ended their day on the course with a team score of 227. AHSTW did not have enough golfers to post a score. Kylie Powers had an outstanding day as she ended with medalist honors with a score of 43. Maeve Nielsen was awarded runner up medalist with a score of 55. Bailey Germer and Megan Williams rounded out the scoring for the Wolves with scores of 63 and 66. The Wolves will travel with the boys’ team to Underwood on Monday, April 25th.

South Central Calhoun and Glidden Ralston at SE Valley Tournament

South Central Calhoun and Glidden Ralston closed out their weeks of competition as they competed in the Southeast Valley tournament Friday afternoon. The Titans closed out the day with a third-place finish with a team score of 262. The Wildcats brought three golfers to the meet and did not have enough golfers for a team score. 

Sam Stuart of South Central Calhoun golfed the best among her teammates with a score of 62 and finishing in seventh-place individually. Mia Babcock finished her day one stroke behind Stuart with a score of 63, good for eighth-place overall. Charissa Nowatzke and Kyra Bruns finished with scores of 68 and 69 respectively, finishing the scoring for the Titans. 

Addy Boell for Glidden Ralston had the best day among area golfers, with a score of 59 and a fourth-place finish individually. Elizabeth Lloyd was able to tie for eighth-place with a score of 63. Breanna Schon was the final golfer for Glidden Ralston, finishing her day with a score of 73. 

Next week, the Titans will host a meet while Glidden Ralston will be at the Carroll Country Club, both teams compete on Monday, April 25th.
