Coon Rapids Bayard and South Central Calhoun At Newell Fonda
South Central Calhoun had a solid evening, having picked up this meet this week after several of their meets were canceled. The Titans finished 5th with 80 points, having 13 individuals finish in the top 6 of their events and 4 finishing in the top 3 including a pair of champions. The Titans were strong in relays as well, with 5 of their relays finishing in the top 6, with 2 in the top 3. Coon Rapids Bayard was very close to scoring but finished the night with no events in the top 6. They had 2 individual events and 2 relays finish in the top 8.
Chloe Judisch continues to look strong in the 800 (2:38.16) and Keira Hammen (37-05) has been tough in the shot put. They both claimed titles in those events on Friday. Brenna McAlister finished 2nd for the Titans in the 1500 meters, and Hammen was 2nd in the discus. The distance medley team of Olivia Toms, Kylee Schleisman, Brenna McAlsiter and Chloe Judisch was 2nd and the Sprint Medley team of Olivia Toms, Kylee Schleisman, Chloe Judisch and Brenna McAlister took 3rd.
Brynn Bass finished 8th for Coon Rapids Bayard in the 100 and Kaydence Gagnon was 8th for the Crusaders in the 200 meters. The Crusaders finished 8th in a pair of relays as well. The 4×100 with Miranda McClellan, Lydia Hofbauer, Kadey Olson and Brynn Bass and the 4×200 with Miranda McClellan, Lydia Hofbauer, Kadey Olson and Brynn Bass.

Audubon and Kuemper At Underwood
Audubon was really balanced between their relays and individual events while Kuemper shined a few individual events in Underwood on Friday. Th Wheelers finished 5th as a team with 72 points, just 4 points behind 3rd place Fremont Mills. The Wheelers had 3 individual events place in the top 6, with all 3 in the top 3. They placed 5 relays in the top 6 with 4 of them in the top 3 including 3 relays winning their race. Team that with Stefi Beisswenger winning the 3000 meters and Audubon claimed 4 titles. Kuemper had 3 individuals place in the top 6 with all 3 in the top 3 including Kenzie Schon who won the shot put. The Knights also placed 3 relays in the top 6 as they finished in 9th place in the meet with 41 points.
Stefi Beisswenger was very solid in individual events for Audubon, winning the 3000 meters (12:19.85) and 2nd in the 1500 meters. Hannah Thygesen brought the Wheelers a 2nd place finish in the 800 meters. The Wheelers real strength was in the relays. The same four girls ran in three relays, winning all three of them. Abigail Zaiger, Mattie Nielsen, Madison Steckler and Hannah Thygesen teamed up in different orders to win the 4×400 (4:31.34), sprint medley (1:57.86) and the distance medley (4:47.72). Abigail Zaiger, Madison Steckler and Mattie Nielsen teamed with Makayla Schmidt to finish 3rd in the 4×200.
Kenzie Schon was really good for Kuemper and is teaming with Ellie Sibbel to give the Knights one of the best one-two combos in the shot put. Schon won the meet with a 39-08.50 while Sibbel finished 3rd. Schon was also 3rd in the discus.
