Kuemper At Carroll Invite 

Carroll continued their strong season by winning the Tiger relays by 25 points over Boone. Kuemper had a solid performance, finishing 7th with 47 points. Carroll picked up five championships, winning three individual events and a pair of relays. The Knights had an individual championship. The Tigers finished in the top 6, fourteen times in individual events with eight of those top 3 finishes. Kuemper had three individual finishes in the top 3 and six in the top 6. The Tigers were in the top 6 in six relays with five of those in the top 3. Kuemper had six relays finish in the top 6.

Hannah Jorgensen and Marie Dea were two of the Tigers top performers. Jorgensen won the 100 meters in 13.18 while helping the sprint medley (1:54.58) and 4×200 (1:51.97) relays finish 1st. The sprint medley also consisted of Marasyn Wittrock, Madison Tunning and Dea and the 4×200 had Libby Perkins, Madison Tunning and Shay Sinnard. Jorgensen teamed with Perkins, Tunning and Sinnard to finish 3rd in the 4×100. Dea was part of the winning sprint medley team along with winning the 400 meters in 2:22.59, a new personal best, which she has broken several times this season. She was part of the 4×400 team that was 2nd with Marasyn Wittrock, Katelyn Aden and Autumn Fortner. Fortner and Katelyn Aden teamed up with Brenna Goins and Kennedy Thein to help win the distance medley (4:39.56). Julia Kanne continues her strong season in the distance races, taking 2nd in the 1500 meters and 3000 meters. Madison Tunning was really good in her relays (above), while finishing 2nd in the 11o hurdles. Shay Sinnard was 2nd in the long jump and Vanessa Ayala took 2nd in the discus for Carroll.

Kenzie Schon won the shot put (39-05.50) for the Knights and Ellie Sibbel was 2nd, helping the Knights take the top two places. Catherine Mayhall had a 3rd place finish for the Knights in the 200 meters.

IKM-Manning and Ar-We-Va Girls At OA-BCIG 

IKM-Manning was at their best in relay races on Thursday in Ida Grove, helping them finish in 3rd place with 78.50 points. Ridge View dominated the meet with 187 points, beating 2nd place Lawton Bronson (128.50) by nearly 60 points. Ar-We-Va finished in 9th place with 4 points. The Wolves won the distance medley while finishing in the top 6 ten times in individual events and six times in relays. They were in the top 3 in five relays and four times in individual events. Ar-We-Va had a top four finish in one event.

The distance medley (4:50.05) was the Wolves 1st place with Bianca Cadwell, Sofie Fernandez, Taylor Beckendorf and Julianna Stribe. IKM-Manning was 2nd in the 4×200 with Amber Halbur, Madelyn Snyder, Abbagail Neilheisel and Bianca Cadwell, the 4×400 with Taylor Beckendorf, Madelyn Snyder, Hannah McKinney and Lauren Irlbeck and the Shuttle Hurdle with Amber Halbur, Emmie Ring, Abbagail Neilheisel and Madelyn Snyder. The 4×800 relay was 3rd with Bianca Cadwell, Emmie Ring, Emily Albertsen and Julianna Stribe. Stribe also finished 3rd in the 800 meters. Emily Albertsen picked up a 2nd place in the 3000 meters and 3rd in the 1500 meters. Mabel Langel was 3rd in the shot put.

Maggie Ragaller scored the Rockets points with a 4th place finish in the 100 hurdles.

Glidden Ralston and Paton Churdan At West Central Valley 

Glidden Ralston was 8th as a team picking up 32 points, scoring in four events. Paton Churdan didn’t pick up a team point but had a relay finished 9th and an individual bring home 11th. The Wildcats won two titles and had four events in the top 3. Three of their top finishes were individual events and one was a relay.

Vanessa Koehler helped Glidden Ralston, winning a pair of titles in the 1oo hurdles (17-04) and high jump (5-0). Koehler also finished 3rd in the 100 meters. The Wildcats took 3rd in the distance medley with  Savannah Bennett, Morgan Tuel, Tiela Janssen and Alexia Nelson.

Kayla Sturm had the best individual finish for Paton Churdan, taking 11th in the discus. The Rockets were 9th in the sprint medley with Kyann Fowler, Savannah McCloud, Taryn Baugh and Bailey Anderson.

East Sac At Fort Dodge 

The Raiders added this meet earlier this week to fill gaps in the schedule due to so many meets canceled this season. The Raiders would score 48 points and finish in 7th place. They had two events, a individual event and a relay finish in the top 3 while having four individual events end up in the top 6 and four relays in the top 6.

Brooke Jergens had a nice night finishing 2nd in the 200 meters and 4th in the 100 meters. Jergens was also part of the 4×100 relay that finished 3rd. She was joined by Meredith Brown, Carly Fischer and Olivia Blum. Olivia Blum added a 5th place finish in the 100 hurdles, the 4×400 with Mary Bontrager, Meredith Brown, Jen Aschinger and Anna McCollough was 4th and the Sprint Medley was 5th with Meredith Brown, Carly Fischer, Olivia Blum and Emma Schroeder.
