Girls Tennis for Friday, April 22nd
Audubon at Red Oak
Audubon continued to grow as a team as they took on Red Oak and were able to win some sets in both singles and doubles. The Wheelers were able to win eight sets in singles and six sets in doubles. Ava Slater and Gery Anderson were able to win three sets in their singles matches, but both fell 8-3 overall. Jill Denny and Gery Anderson teamed up in doubles and kept up with Jessica Lukehart and Grace Wingfield of Red Oak. The Red Oak duo ultimately pulled away for the 8-4 win.
The Wheelers return to action on Tuesday April 26th as they play host to Atlantic.
