The Audubon Wheelers were able to take a few matches from Southwest Valley Tuesday, but ultimately lost on a chilly day on the courts. The Timberwolves were victorious with a 7-2 match advantage. The Wheelers went 24-44 in singles matches and 11-12 in doubles matches. Kya Petersen won the lone singles match for Audubon, defeating Alana Drake with a score of 8-3. Audrey Jensen had a very close singles match, but she was unable to pull out the victory and was defeated 9-7. Gery Anderson had a similar result in her match as she lost 8-6. Jensen and Petersen teammed up in doubles to grab a solid 8-3 win for the Wheelers lone doubles win of the day. Anderson and Joselynn Moreno in the other doubles match stayed in for as long as they could, but ultimately dropped the match with a score of 8-3.
Audubon will return to action on Friday, April 22nd when they travel to take on Red Oak.
