Carroll picked up a huge road win in overtime, outscoring ADM 8-4 in the extra period. Carroll had to bounce back after ADM rallied in the 4th quarter, having been down by 7 to send the game to overtime with a put back at the buzzer. Katelyn Aden hit a pair of free throws, putting Carroll up by 4 in the closing seconds of overtime. Carroll took control of the game in the 3rd, after ADM led 17-16 at half. Carroll went on a 6-0 run, going up by 7. Addison Klocke and Josie Ayala scored inside during the run and Katelyn Aden came up with a big steal, finding Camryn Schable for the layup. Carroll held ADM to 4 points in the 3rd quarter. Carroll won their 4th straight, evening their record at 10-10 overall and 5-10 in the Raccoon River Conference. They close out the conference schedule on Saturday, hosting Gilbert. A win would put Carroll in a 6th place tie with ADM.
Josie Ayala had a double-double for Carroll with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Camryn Schabled finished with 10 points and Hannah Jorgensen added 9 points. Katelyn Aden had 7 points and 6 rebounds while Addison Klocke scored 8 points with 6 rebounds.
Carroll opens up their post season run next Wednesday at Lewis Central.
