Carroll Boys in Prelims At Iowa City
Carroll boys had three swimmers compete in the individual event prelims on Friday night. The top 16 swimmers qualified for the finals on Saturday. Jonathan Dose broke a school record in the 100 Fly, swimming it in 54.06. Dose finished 22nd overall with a seed time of 54.67, cutting .61 off his seeded time. Dose also competed in the 50 free, finishing 24th in 22.23. That was .12 slower than his seeding time. Kyle Sundrup was the other swimmer competing. He finished 30th in the 100 back, in 57.27. His seed time was 56.23. None of the boys advanced into the finals on Saturday. They will be joined by Tristen Blair and Sam Janssen in both the 200 Free and 400 Free relays on Saturday.
