Carroll fell down early at Carlisle shot the ball well early, building a 22-15 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. The Wildcats led by as many as 16 in the 1st half and were up 38-28 at half. The Tigers settled down defensively in the 2nd half, helping to get the offense going. Carroll held the Wildcats to 14 points in the 2nd half, while pouring in 36 points. The Tigers exploded for 25 points in the 4th quarter.

Carroll had three players score in double figures with Kaleb Booth leading the way with 20 points. He added 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Evan Hammer and Tanner Gotto each had 13 points with Hammer adding 6 rebounds.

The win improves Carroll to 10-8 overall and 8-6. Carroll takes a 2 game win streak into Friday’s game at ADM (9-9, 7-7).

Tyler Schmitt helped East Sac build a 10-0 lead on the Titans senior night. Eli Wheelock hit Gavin Batta to get the Titans on the board and the Titans began to chip away at the Raiders lead, but Schmitt was too much for them to handle, scoring 27 points in the 1st half. A Gavin Batta three, cut the Raiders led to 12-7 midway through the 1st quarter. Tyler Schmitt scored 5 straight to extend the lead to 10. An Eli Wheelock hit a three and Joe Clark scored to pull the Titans within 17-15. Aden Vondrak nailed a three for the Raiders, gong up 20-15. The Raiders led 24-22 after the 1st quarter and maintained the lead around 3-5 points until the early part of the 2nd quarter. The Titans pulled within 3, before tying the game at 27 on a three from Ethan Meyer. The Raiders went back up by 3 but Gavin Batta found Ethan Meyer giving the Titans their first lead of the game at 34-33. Tyler Schmitt put East Sac back up 37-36. Antonio Sanders scored for the Titans before Tyler Schmitt hit Aden Vondrak for bucket, putting the Raiders up 40-38. Tyler Lightner got to the rim before the buzzer and the Titans tied the game at 40 at half.

South Central Calhoun went up to start the 2nd half, but Aden Vondrak hit a three to put the Raiders up 1. the Titans grabbed the lead back and never relinquished it. A Titan 7-0 run, put the Titans up 49-43. The Raiders pulled within 2 but the Titans went back up 7. Caleb Eichorn helped the Raiders pull back to within three with back-to-back threes, down 57-54. Again the Titans went on a 5-0 run and led by 8 heading to the 4th quarter. The Titans pulled away in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Titans 14-8 in the 4th quarter.

Eli Wheelock and Joshua Dietrich both scored 19 points to led the Titans who had four players score in double figures. Ethan Myers scored 12 points and Joe Clark finished with 10 points. Clark and Dietrich each had 6 rebounds while Eli Wheelock finished with a team high 7 assists and 4 steals. Dietrich blocked 7 shots.

Tyler Schmitt had a game high 33 points with 27 of them in the 1st half. He added 12 rebounds. Caleb Eichorn had 6 points, Aden Vondrak had 5 assists.

The win moves the Titans to 16-4 overall and 10-2 in the Twin Lakes Conference. They head to Storm Lake on Thursday to close out the regular season. The Raiders end the regular season 9-12 overall and 7-5 in the Twin Lakes Conference. East Sac travels to Ridge View on Monday for a playoff matchup.

Coon Rapids Bayard won their 8th straight and 12th in their last 13 games as they had to battle against a Paton Churdan team that kept the pressure on all game. The Crusaders led by 12 at the end of the 1st quarter, but they struggled to score around the rim in the 2nd quarter. The Rockets began to knock down a few shots and trimmed the Crusaders lead to 7 at half. Coon Rapids Bayard continued to get dribble penetration, getting shots to fall in the 2nd half. They scored 15 points in the 3rd quarter and 14 in the 4th quarter. Paton Churdan was down just 10 after the 3rd quarter. They scored 8 points in the 4th as the Crusaders pulled away.

Lance Clayburg had another double-double for the Crusaders with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Gabe Obert continues to come on strong with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Tanner Oswald added 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Seth Thurman led the Rockets with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Joe Carey added 8 points and 3 steals. Bradyn Smith also scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.

The Crusaders improved to 15-6 overall and 11-5 in the Rolling Valley. Paton Churdan falls to 1-19 overall and 1-11 in the Rolling Valley.

Audubon won their 2nd straight, leading throughout the night. The win improves the Wheelers to 8-13 overall and 5-10 in the Western Iowa Conference while the Wolves fell to 5-15 overall and 2-13 in the Western Iowa Conference. Audubon was up 7 at the end of the 1st quarter and by 14 at half. The Wolves played better in the 2nd half but Audubon kept the pressure up, scoring double figures in all four quarters.

Edward Miller led three Wheelers in double figures with 16 points, Collin Bauer added 13 points and Carson Bauer had 11 points.

Amos Rasmussen scored 15 points for IKM-Manning, Lane Sams added 7 points and Nolan Ramsey finished with 6 points. Caden Keller pulled down 5 rebounds.

The Wheelers take on Riverside at AHSTW on Monday in district play, IKM-Manning hosts Boyer Valley to wrap up the regular season on Thursday.

The game was tied at 41 with five minutes left before a few turnovers by the Rockets helped the Cougars grab a lead. CAM Anita was able to keep the lead down the stretch by hitting free throws. Ar-We-Va built and early lead and was up by 6 at the end of the 1st quarter. A tough offensive stretch in the 2nd quarter put them down by 2 at half. They rallied and led by 2 heading into the 4th quarter. The loss dropped the Rockets to 7-14 overall and 4-12 in the Rolling Valley Conference.

Will Ragaller paced the Rockets attack with 17 points. Cooper Kock added 9 points and Emmett Neumann finished with 6 points and 5 rebounds.

Ar-We-Va heads to Coon Rapids Bayard on Monday in a playoff matchup.
