IKM-Manning hung tough into the 4th quarter with a solid defensive effort and aggressive play on the backboards. The game slipped away in the final few minutes after Braydon Hill came off the bench for the first time in the game for the Bulldogs and hit a three, putting them ahead 42-37. The Bulldogs would close the game on a 13-2 run. IKM-Manning outshot the Bulldogs from the free throw, making 12-15 to the Bulldogs 8-11 but Riverside hit eight-threes to IKM-Manning three.
Riverside took an early 3-0 lead on the first of four-threes for Aiden Bell. IKM-Manning came right back, Ross Kusel found Conner Halbur and then Nolan Ramsey hit a three and the game was tied at 5. Halbur hit a free throw, giving the Wolves their first lead at 6-5 but Riverside answered with another Bell three to lead 8-6. The Wolves tied the game at 8 and Caden Keller put them ahead 10-8. Aden Salais hit a three and Riverside led, 11-10. They held a 15-12 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. The Bulldogs lead grew to 21-14 in the 2nd quarter but IKM-Manning stormed back. Conner Halbur hit a free throw, Amos Rasmussen scored a bucket and then hit a three on a pass by Nolan Ramsey. The Wolves pulled within 1 at 21-20. They trailed 23-22 at half after a pair of free throws by Caden Keller.
Conner Halbur hit a shot in the lane in the 3rd, followed by a bucket and an and one by Amos Rasmussen and IKM-Manning took a 29-27 lead in the 3rd. Bell hit another three but Rasmussen answered to put IKM-Manning up 32-30. The game was tied at 33 heading into the 4th quarter. Conner Halbur kept the Wolves close with four straight free throws, tying the game at 35 and 37. Grady Jeppesen hit a pair of free throws for Riverside before Braydon Hill pushed the lead to 5 with a three. IKM-Manning never recovered and the Bulldogs closed the game with an 8-2 run.
Conner Halbur lead two players in double figures with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Amos Rasmussen added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Nolan Ramsey added 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
The loss drops the Wolves to 3-9 overall and 2-8 in the Western Iowa Conference. The Wolves host AHSTW on Tuesday.

Glidden Ralston started quickly on the road, attacking the Bulldogs 1-3-1 with Cale Klocke and Ethan Olberding finding the gaps. The Wildcats were up by 8 after the 1st quarter but Ogden opened the 2nd quarter scoring in transition, quickly tying the game and taking a 34-27 lead by half. Turnovers hurt the Wildcats in the 2nd half, scoring just 5 points in the 3rd quarter, allowing Ogden to lead by 22 entering the 4th quarter. Ethan Olberding shot the ball well and scored 8 of his team high 17 points in the 4th quarter.
Ethan Olberding was the only Wildcat in double figures, Caden Smith added 8 points.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 2-9 overall. They host Boyer Valley on Friday.

Low scoring 1st and 4th quarters were too much for Paton Churdan to overcome on the road as the Rockets fall to 0-9 on the season. Paton Churdan battled well in the middle part of the game, playing within 2 points of West Bend Mallard. They scored just 12 points combined in the 1st and 4th quarters while West Bend Mallard added 40.
Joe Carey continues a good season with a team high 17 points, Shaydon Thurman added 11 points, Parker Fitzpatrick finished with 5 points and 6 rebounds.
The Rockets will travel to CAM Anita on Tuesday for the second of four games this week. They host Ar-We-Va on Thursday and West Harrison on Friday with both of the home games broadcast by Carroll Broadcasting.
