East Sac at Spirit Lake Tournament
East Sac wrestling were unable to pick up a match victory at the Spirit Lake Tournament on Friday, but they had some individual match wins to add to their season totals. East Sac went 9-14 in matches wrestled going 3-3 against Spirit Lake Park, 3-3 against Sioux Center, 1-5 against Central Springs, and 2-3 against Sioux City North.
Charlie Veit had the most successful night among the Raider wrestlers, going 2-1 in matches wrestled, picking up wins via fall at 43 seconds and decision. Bradyn Burns went 2-0 in matches wrestled, picking up both wins via fall. Garrett Ortner had a successful day, going 2-1 with both victories coming via fall in less than two minutes. Landon Grindle also had a 2-1 day with wins via fall and his one loss coming via decision. Chandler Quirk picked up a win on the day via fall while going 1-2 in matches wrestled. Kaydon Erpelding in his lone match wrestled won it via fall at 33 seconds.
