Girls Cross Country Results for Saturday, October 16th

 

IKM-Manning as Missouri Valley

 

IKM-Manning had a strong performance at Missouri Valley on Saturday ending the day with two top 20 finishes. 

 

The Wolves were led by Emily Albertsen who kept her pace well and grabbed a fifth place finish with a time of 21:14.03. Reagan Garrison was around a minute behind Albertsen as she finished in 14th with a time of 22:22.98. Julianna Stribe finished just outside the top 25 in 27th place with a final time of 25:26.66. FInally, Maddy Snyder and McKenna Mullen were able to stay close to each other by finishing in 30th and 33rd respectively. The Wolves as a team finished 6th in the standings. 

 

IKM-Manning travels to Panorama for their state qualifying meet on Thursday, October 21st.

South Central Calhoun and East Sac at Twin Lakes Conference Meet

 

South Central Calhoun and East Sac had good performances overall at the Twin Lakes Conference meet with both teams having runners record new personal records. 

 

South Central Calhoun’s Breanna Patterson and Chloe Judisch had a little competition between each other as they both finished next to each other in the top 10. Patterson recorded a new personal best of 21:52.06 while finishing in seventh. Judisch also finished with a new personal record at 21:58.05 in eighth place. Patterson and Judisch told Carroll Broadcasting that they both felt good about their times and look to improve further at the state qualifying meet. Alexia Nelson had a strong performance finishing inside the top 20 with a 17th place finish with a time of 23:12.25. Evelyn Kramer was just outside the top 25 as she finished in 28th place. The Titans as a team finished fourth in the standings with 89 points. 

 

For East Sac, Emma Schroeder was just ahead of Patterson and Judisch as she finished in sixth place with a time of 21:45.35. Schroeder told Carroll Broadcasting that the hills were tough, but a good challenge prior to the state qualifying meet next week. Amalie Kroyer and Kortni Thomsen stayed close to each other throughout the course. Kroyer finished in 24th with a time of 23:57.77 and Thomsen finished in 27th with a time of 24:03.97. The Raiders as a team finished seventh in the team standings. 

 

The Titans and Raiders will both travel to Southeast Valley for their state qualifying meet on Thursday, October 21st.
