Girls Swimming Results for Tuesday, September 28th
Atlantic and Spencer at Carroll
Carroll was in great shape in their home meet Tuesday, where, against Atlantic and Spencer, they won six individual events, two relay events, and set two new individual event records.
Jenna Currier was excited to swim once again after missing out on the Des Moines Lincoln meet. Currier set two new individual school records. She set the new record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.38 and the 500 Free with a time of 5:26.41. She was also part of the two first place relay teams. The 200 free relay, consisting of Currier, Emma Myers, Hailey Burns, Ellie Beagle, won with a final time of 1:44.99 and the 400 free relay, made up of Ellie Beagle, Amelia Holt, Myers, and Currier, won with a time of 3:51.67. Ellie Beagle also looked strong in her individual events, where she won the 100 fly with a time of 1:05.55, and the 100 back with a time of 1:07.76. Holt and Myers also both grabbed first place finished in individual events. Holt won the 50 free with a time of 26.67 and Myers won the 100 free with a time of 58.21.
The Tigers are on the road at Boone on Tuesday, October 5th.
