Girls Cross Country Results Thursday, September 23rd
Kuemper At Roland Story
The Knights were really sharp on Thursday and ran well with two girls in the top 10 and a 4th place team finish. The Knights showed good improvement over last week at a tough course on Panorama on Thursday. Several individuals cut a minute or more of their times from a week ago. There were 100 individuals who ran in the event and finished, Kuemper had three of the top 20 runners.
Marie Dea continues to impress, trimming around a minute and a half off last week’s time, finishing in 3rd place with a 21:55. Dea has a terrific young running partner in Julia Kanne as the other sophomore finished 6th in 22:07. Kanne was nearly two minutes faster than last week. Sienna Argarin has really been good this season and gave the Knights a third top 20 finish taking 19th place in 23:06, which was exactly two minutes faster than at Panorama.

IKM-Manning At Audubon Invitational
IKM-Manning was the only full team as they claim the team title on Thursday. The Wolves had three runners in the top 10 and all five runners that scored for the team standings were in the top 16. Audubon had a really strong individual showing with two of the top three places but only had four runners and no team score. There were 21 runners who scored in the race.
Stefi Beisswenger of Audubon won the event in 21:56.7, continuing her strong start to the season and picking up her first meet win. Her teammate Hannah Thygesen was strong as well in 3rd place in 22:28.3. The Wheelers also had Autumn Zaiger take 15th place in 28:16.6. IKM-Manning was led by Emily Albertsen in 4th place in 22:53.0 and Reagan Garrison in 8th place in 24:32.0. The Wolves showed their depth with Julianna Stribe taking 10th in 25:20.5 and Kaitlyn Spoelstra 14th place in 27:36.4. Maddy Snyder took 16th for IKM-Manning in 29:56.4.

East Sac and South Central Calhoun At MVAO-COU
South Central Calhoun is getting healthy and coming on strong, finishing with two top 10 finishes individually and a 2nd place team finish. The Titans had four runners in the top 25. East Sac only ran four girls and didn’t have a team score but received another strong performance from Emma Schroeder who was the top individual from the local area. She was the lone runner for the Raiders in the top 30.
Schroeder took 4th overall for East Sac in 21:45.70. Breanna Patterson of South Central Calhoun paced the Titans in 8th place in 22:15.42. Chloe Judisch in just her second meet this season was 10th in 22:47.74. The Titans also had Adlen Wheelock in 24th in 24:56.34 and Evelyn Kramer 25th in 24:57.69.
